Our Veterinarian
Dr. Lauren Thibault, DVM
Owner & Lead Veterinarian
A native of Alabama at heart, Dr. Lauren Thibault was born in Rome, Georgia, and raised in Ohatchee, where her passion for caring for animals began early. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor’s in Integrated Science and a minor in Chemistry, then went on to graduate from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2025.
Growing up with a mother in family medicine, Lauren was surrounded by healthcare from an early age and ultimately chose to become “the other family doctor” by caring for animals. Outside of work, her life is happily filled with two dogs, one cat, five rabbits, seven chickens, and two tortoises.
Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (she’s visited 31 countries), and cheering on Mississippi State athletics—Hail State! Returning home to serve her rural community has been a dream come true for her.
